First month on earth

I can't believe she is a month old! She is definately big enough to be a month old, I am just surprised at how fast it actually has gone! And how much things change in just a month. For example...ask me on July 11th how many kids we want and I would say "one please". Ask me a week later and the answer would be the same. But a mere 3 weeks later I would sign up today for another! (okay, maybe not TODAY but definately in the near future :) Madie has been so much fun. She is a really good baby and loves to smile and look at her new world. She is a water baby-loves the bath and SCREAMS bloody murder when it's time to get out. No doubt she will be the "But I'm not even wrinkly yet!" kid in the future. I took her swimming and she slept in the water on my chest the whole time! It was awesome! I thought I would post some pics of her first month on earth commemorate! Are you my mother???
Hi world!
That's my name...don't "WEAR" it out! (Ha Ha I'm cheesy)
Meeting Auntie Erin for the first time
Meeting cousin Bryce for the first time...He was so excited. I got a half hug with the words "Where's baby Madeline???"
First attempt at a smile :)
Meeting Maggie (my big "sister") I know...cheesy
Hanging with Dad
At the Park...I want to know what she is thinking!!!
About to start screaming since I took her out of the bath
This is when she looks most like her dad...
Lion Roar!
Again, I so BADLY want to know what she is thinking when she makes this face, she does it alot!
Meeting Auntie Kristin for the first time
Holding her hair as she falls asleep

I LOVE this picture...She's a hat girl for sure!!!

I'm a mommy!

I know this is SOOO overdue it isn't even funny but what can I say? We have been busy! Madeline made her debut into the world on July 11th @ 8:09 am. Kinda fitting since I was addicted to Slurpees (Cherry Coke to be exact) throughout the entire pregnancy! She will now receive a free Slurpee every year on her birthday at participating 7/11's. Thats right folks, every year on 7/11, you too can receive a free small Slurpee at a participating convenience store near you! She weighed in at 8lbs., 6oz. and was 20" long. Definitely her fathers' daughter! The doctor was awesome and made sure I knew that I had "A pretty good sized baby" RIGHT before I began pushing..."Thanks Doc!" Labor was fast, about 2 1/2 hours total. She wasted no time :) Well enough about the details, lets see some pictures!!!

The Most Awesome Baby Shower

I have written in the past about my girlfriends Nani, Nikki and Karina. We have been friends since elementry school and all through high school and still today we get together for more fun than girls SHOULD have together. But I cannot say enough about these girls and the baby shower they and Erin threw for Madeline and I. It was awesome!!! They seriously went all out! I still need to get some pictures of the room in it's entirety because I can't even begin to describe it. There was not one detail left undone, it was amazing! I couldn't have asked for anything more! So from the bottom of my heart, thank you guys for a most awesome baby shower!!!

The brown, pink and green balloons were held down by these cute weights

Erin still smiling after the mad rush set up in 100 degree weather!!!

The tables had these cute polka dot covers on them and all the drinks were served in fancy champagne flutes

My first roomie Annie made these super cute "Mary Janes" as favors...They had Hershey Kisses in them and they were sooo cute! Thanks Annie!!!

Here they are up close and personal...I seriously thought these were adorable!!!

This was the least fattening cake I ever saw!!! It is made entirely out of diapers, pacifires and there were even baby spoons in there! A much more useful cake for sure! So much for "once on the lips forever on the hips"! Madeline will only have these on her little hips for a short time!

Here I am in all my pregnant glory! I was 33 weeks here.

Believe it or not, I am pretty sure Annie and Bev WERE having a good time...They just really wanted to win Baby Bingo...

This is my future son in law Henry...He is sooo cute!! Hope Madeline agrees!

Seriously look at his face! It is so cute!

Me (and all my chins) opening presents :) Seriously my neck has like 3 layers!!! What the crap!

This was a toally cute gift from my friend Karina...It was a clothes line with really cute onsies, dresses and a little bathing suit on it!

Auntie Ashley practicing with Brelynn...she is going to be awesome!
